I have a crazy story to tell you (don't worry, I'll make it quick!)
As some of you may know, I recently got married and never in a million years would I have thought, that not even a year into my marriage, that I would be sharing my home with a complete stranger.
(yea, got ya hooked now eh lol!)

I had been praying for my husband to find a solid, reliable and genuine best friend for a couple months (outside of me of course haha) and what seemed to have happened out of nowhere, was my husband hiring a new staff member who ended up being exactly that; his new best friend! 

Traveling all the way from Africa, Antif left his home, his wife and his two beautiful children in search of a better life for his family. After a few months of our version of 'family dinners' and learning more about each other, my husband and I learned, that due to cost of living in Canada, it wouldn't be for a few years until Antif would be able to see his wife and children again. Could you imagine?!

After learning that our friend was paying an ABSORBANT amount for a single, basement, bedroom near by, and knowing how long it would take him to see his family again, we didn't hesitate opening our doors. 

I recently overheard Antif's wife ask him if there was anyway for him to find more work so that they could get their 9 year old daughter a bicycle this Christmas.
